The TYC management team is a dedicated group of materials scientists from across the four participating London universities, who act as trustees of this grass-roots centre. They lead on strategic objectives, collaborative activities, a lively and varied programme of events and funding applications.

Members are strongly encouraged to engage with the activities of the centre. Input and suggestions from members are warmly welcomed. The Thomas Young Centre boasts an ever-expanding membership of around 100 leading academics and their groups in the field of materials and molecular theory, simulation, and modelling.
