The Department of Physics and Astronomy at UCL aims to appoint a Lecturer in Experimental Condensed Matter Physics. The appointment is a full-time position. The primary task of the person appointed will be to conduct an original and independent research programme that aspires to the highest levels of scholarship. The post holder will further contribute to the teaching programme in the Department of Physics & Astronomy and perform the normal administrative duties expected of a member of academic staff as required by the Head of Department.
We seek candidates with research experience and interests in any aspect of experimental condensed matter physics, particularly research that can exploit the existing facilities at UCL or the UK's central facilities. The successful candidate will become part of the Condensed Matter and Materials Physics (CMMP) group in the Department of Physics & Astronomy at UCL. We welcome applications from experimentalists whose research will diversify our interests as well as from those whose research will strengthen existing themes.
