Research Summary:

The key research interests relate to the development of material and modelling techniques for design of composite structures, typically involving LS-DYNA or ABAQUS. Impact testing and modelling of composite components, design of novel structures for morphing and flow control. Development of new composite materials based on high performance fibres.
