Research Summary:

My research in the field of computational materials science started in the fields of surface science and crystal growth, which continue to be major interests. Since 2000, I have pioneered the development and application of computer modeling methods to Biomaterials science. More recently, I have started a collaborative project in the field of sulfide nano-particles for CO2 conversion with experimental colleagues in UCL Chemistry. The main research areas within my research group at present are Biomaterials, Surface Science and Catalysis, Crystal Growth and Dissolution, and Computational Mineralogy.
