This event is an opportunity for a selection of PhD students from across the TYC to present the fruits of their labours and to compete for the coveted "Best Talk" prize, which will be judged by a panel of experts.
The guest speaker will be Professor Linsday Greer (Department of Materials Science & Metallurgy, University of Cambridge) and he will give a Highlight Seminar at 5pm, after the student talks, on "Metallic Glasses: record-breaking properties for alloys"
