London's main international airports are Heathrow, Gatwick and Stansted.
* Heathrow to central London by Underground (Piccadilly line): There are three Underground stations at Heathrow: one for Terminals 1 and 3, and one each at Terminal 4 and Terminal 5. Journey time to central London can be up to one hour. Cost of a single ticket is about £4. If you are staying in London, it is cheaper to buy a travel card or an Oyster card.
* Heathrow to central London by Heathrow Express: This is reliable and fast: It departs every 15 minutes, and takes you to Paddington Station in central London, with a journey time of 15 minutes. A single ticket costs about £8.
* Stansted to central London: The fast way is the Stansted Express. Trains run every 15 minutes, with a journey time of about 45 minutes to London's Liverpool Street station. Cost of a single ticket is £18.
* Gatwick to central London: The Gatwick Express takes you to London's Victoria station. Trains run every 15 minutes, and the journey time is about 30 minutes. Cost of a single ticket is £17.
