Directions
Please refer to the campus map to find the main locations at UCL. You may also find it useful to consult the UCL route-finder.
Some of the main places used for TYC meetings are:
* The Nyholm Room: Chemistry Department (East side of Gordon Street, opposite the Bloomsbury Theatre). Passing through the main entrance of the Chemistry Department, go straight ahead past the reception desk on the ground floor and you arrive at the Nyholm Room.
* The Ramsay Lecture Theatre: Chemistry Department. Follow same directions as for the Nyholm Room, but turn right after passing the reception desk.
* Room E7, Physics Department: The main entrance to the Physics Department is at the north end of the cloisters. There are several entrances to the cloisters from the Main Quadrangle, which you can enter through the main gate of UCL on Gower Street. From the north end of the cloisters, pass through two sets of swing doors, and you will find yourself in the ground-floor corridor of the Physics Department. Room E7 is on the left.
* Roberts (Engineering) Building - various rooms are used: The main entrance to the Roberts Building is at the corner of Torrington Place and Malet Place (at bottom of the campus map).
* Council Room (South Wing): This is on the ground floor at the south end of the UCL cloisters, not far from the effigy of Jeremy Bentham. To reach it from Gower Street, pass through the main gate of UCL into the Main Quadrangle, and go in though the door at the far right corner of the quadrangle. Then take a right-hand turn into a ground-floor corridor with administrative offices on either side. The Council Room is on the right, about half-way along.
